April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and during this month My Safe Harbor is dedicated to supporting families to reduce the risk of child abuse and neglect. Join us and discover how you can play a part and help create positive change in your community.

Mother’s Club – Wednesdays 9:30 – 11:00 am

April 5: Ask a Mom  – Ask a panel of experienced moms how they handled the stress of parenting without resorting to physical discipline – and tips for staying sane!

April 12: Mommy and Me Day – Bring your kids for a morning filled with fun. It is important to enjoy our children and spend time with them. We will have cooking, crafts, and games for you to do with your children and extra childcare so you can spend one-on-one time with each child.

April 19: Closed for Spring Break

April 26: Relaxation Techniques – Being a mom is hard work and can be very stressful. Come learn some techniques to help you relax and stay calm amidst the chaos.


Exercise Club

Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:30 – 9:15 am: Must be enrolled in an MSH program to attend. MSH participants can bring one friend.



April 4 & 6, 9:30 – 11:00 am: Strengthening Your Family – Being the best parent you can be involves taking steps to strengthen your family and finding support when you need it. When you have the knowledge, skills, and resources you need, you can raise a happy, healthy child. In this class you will learn about the 5 protective factors that help prevent child abuse and how you can use them to strengthen your family.
